València City Council speeds process and production of new service

In 2014, València City Council launched a strategy of digital transformation to become a leader in paperless e-government and smart city management, and as a result, better serve citizens. Due to the pandemic, the Council took action to speed up and consolidate this process. This case study examines how implementing Red Hat® OpenShift® allowed the Council to develop orchestration and automation tools for application deployment and maintenance, adopt DevOps methodology, and reduce CO2 emissions.
